We are a family run farmshop and cafe that specialises in free range poultry. Our chickens and turkeys are reared, slaughtered and processed here on the farm in small batches. This ensures the best welfare for the bird as well as zero food miles. We sell our delicious free range eggs in our shop alongside Seasonal produce grown locally. We work closely with many local businesses including Suffolk Farmhouse Cheeses, The Bakehouse, Preserves of Suffolk and Capel Country Pies.
We've come a long way since them days!
in 2016 'Salisbury's Turkey's' came to the farm, rearing free range chickens and turkeys, taking orders throughout the year with collections from the barn at christmas.
2017 was the year we took the plunge and began to renovate a farm workshop into what we all know now to be the farmshop!
The grand opening of the farmshop came on the 23rd March 2018, with each year seeing growth and expansion. We were soon to be faced with an unexpected challenge of the global pandemic, with the first lockdown falling exactly 2 years to the day since our opening. Although this forced us to postpone our cafe opening, the shop was incredibly busy with queue's stretching out onto the road every single day, home delivieries to the local villages every afternoon and daily deliveries to the shop to stock up on fresh fruit and veg, toilet rolls and 25kg bags of flour! The support we recieved whilst being able to support the community ourselves was really special.
fast forward to now, where our cafe has become incredibly popular, a menu that's forever growing, a beautiful cafe garden perfect for relaxing, and a nature trail built by our own fair hands for hours of fun for the children. come and have a look for yourselves!

FARMSHOP
Fresh is best! A selection of seasonal produce is on offer in our Farmshop, grown on the farm or locally sourced where possible. Currently in stock we have a variety of Moat Farm Apples, from Kenton. 4 types of potatoes from Elveden, Thetford and Heritage Tomatoes from Redlingfield. We have fresh dairy products from Suffolk Farmhouse Cheese's only a 5 minute drive away on the A140, from guernsey milk to Suffolk Brie! We also have a wide range of food goods from local companies, including Stokes and Butterworths as-well as a colourful variety of craft products produced by local artists and designers, perfect for gifts or a little treat for yourself!
Choice Cuts
Our butchers counter display's a variety of choice cut meats including our own Free Range Chicken, reared and processed here on the farm. Red Poll Beef reared in Stowupland, Lamb reared just down the road on the A140, Dingley Dell Pork, seasonal Game & our own free-range Turkeys for Christmas. On our meat counter you'll fine whole chickens, and cuts from thighs to breast and diced chicken pieces. Beef steaks, mince and diced beef. Smoked streaky and back bacon and a popular beer cured bacon, classic sausages and chipolata's, we've got plenty on offer! Ask in store and order in advance for specific cuts. We also have a freezer with a wide variety of frozen meats, often with a discount to offer!
TAKE A BREAK
Come and relax and enjoy some delightful tastes of Suffolk in our Café! Spend some time in our beautifully peaceful Café Garden during the warm spring & summer months, surrounded by fragrant beautiful flowers. We are dog friendly both inside and out, we also have plenty of toys and books to keep the children entertained as well as swings, a sand pit and ride on tractors outdoors. Our menu has been steadily growing and we have plenty to offer, from the popular Bacon Huffers to Giant Cheese Scone's and our homemade cakes, there's something for everyone! We also cater for Gluten and Dairy Free where possible, please enquire.

Light Bites
Big Bacon Huffer
Local smoked back bacon in a large soft white or granary huffer. Add one of our delicious free range egg's for £1 for extra taste!

Local Smoked Back Bacon, generous slices of Creamy Brie, finished off with a layer of Stokes Cranberry Sauce and toasted in one of our soft huffers until perfectly melted inside.

Avocado smashed with lime juice and garlic puree, served on a toasted huffer, and topped with an egg of your choice. Fried, Poached or Scrambled. Served with a wedge of lime and sweet chilli sauce on the side! Add some bacon for an extra crunch!
